During this week of prayer for Christian unity, our prayer must be the source of our actions towards ecumenism : we are entrusted with a great responsibility to promote unity among all the Faith and Light communities rooted in their Christian tradition and sharing the same charter.
"We will all be changed by the Victory of our Lord Jesus Christ," is the theme chosen this year by The Pontifical Council for Promoting Christian Unity and The Commission on Faith and Order of the World Council of Churches. This document suggests a model of ecumenical celebration to the churches and communities who wish to join this week of prayer for unity, but also writings that can feed our personal prayer, each day of the week and also all year long.
