24 hours for world peace19 december 2013
On January 1, join the online vigil "24h for peace" with the participation of Jean Vanier
"24 Hours for World Peace" was created to restore all its meaning to the first day of the year, the World Day of Peace. The online vigil attempts to gather all the peacemakers, who include the weak, the disadvantaged and the marginalised, regardless of their cultural or religious backgrounds.
"24 Hours for World Peace" encourages all communities, parishes and groups to participate to the event by sending their messages of peace, by transmitting the call in their communities, signing up on the website and, for the more enthusiastic, organizing a vigil on the day itself, January 1, 2014, in celebration of the World Day of Peace.
Faith and Light is united with the press release of l'Arche and with the beautiful "Words of dignity" from the people with disabilities of the Federation of l'Arche welcomed of different continents (America, Europe, India, Africa, and the Middle East), five "pearls of wisdom" on the art of reflecting the difference.
